HEARING SESSION
Today, Rm 14 learns about earsThese girls from Lynn field college came and thought us about ears.
I learnt what dB (decibels) means.
Decibels are a way to measure sound.
If there is more sound than 85 dB than it can damage our ear drum.
Also I learnt about your hair cells.
Basically what hair cells are, there like your cells that show how you can weaken your hearing.
Those are hair cells.
The straight cells are showing that you have good hearing and the jumbled up one shows that you bad hearing.
So how you get bad hearing is when something is too loud.
Then it breaks up you hair cells.
That is what I learnt and hope you learnt a bit about your ears as well.
Also here is a quick explanation of how we hear.
How we hear is vibrations, the vibrations come to our ear go through our ear bone then we hear.
Great to see you sharing some interesting facts you learnt today Ali. For next time please remember to proof read before pushing publish. Also could you offer some advice for people so they can prevent hearing loss?
